Star-Tech Electrical was founded in 2000 by Ignacio Chacon, an electrical engineer with the ambition of providing detailed, organized, thorough and honest contracting services in the Miami area. The fact that the business has stayed in the family ensures a high level of personal interaction with our clients, which ensures that they get quick responses, fair estimates, and the ability to meet your exact needs.

Xavier Chacon
Xavier has been the president of Star-Tech since 2011. He has focused on increasing the scope of the business while maintaining the level of service that clients expect with the Star-Tech name. After inheriting the business from his father, Ignacio, he set out to take it to the next level by improving the efficiency and workflow in order to better serve clients and ensuring no one ever fell through the cracks. His priority is ensuring each job performed has a high level of detail and professionalism, no matter how small.

Ignacio Chacon
Ignacio brought his family from his native Ecuador in search of a better life. In 2000, he decided to use his knowledge and experience to create a business that could provide for his family. In 11 years, he was able to establish Star-Tech as an electrical contractor of choice for commercial businesses, from banks and condominiums to chain restaurants and local bakeries. In his well-earned retirement, he now acts as an advisor and consultant to the company, now led by his son, Xavier.
